Announcing the latest addition to our Napa Valley Portfolio of Wineries
It is our privilege to introduce one of the most exciting new wineries in Napa Valley – Cliff Lede Vineyards - situated within 60 prime acres of vineyards located in the famed Stags Leap District. Dedicated to making the highest quality Bordeaux-style wines, Cliff Lede has assembled the ‘A-Team’ of top-notch winemaking professionals that includes the extraordinary talents of Winemaker Michele Edwards (formerly of Colgin), Vineyard Manager extraordinaire David Abreu (Harlan Estate, Colgin, Screaming Eagleand Bryant Family) and internationally renowned consultant Michel Rolland (Harlan Estate, Le Bon Pasteur). With a state-0f-the-art winery completed in 2005, and exceptional fruit from its vineyards, no expense has been spared in creating some top world-class wines that will surely impress.
Wines available at The Wine Club include the flagship wine Stag’s Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon 2004, the Claret 2004, and its tete-de-cuvee and highly allocated Poetry Cabernet Sauvignon from Stag’s Leap hillside vines. Also available later in the year is their Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2006, perfumed with a panoply of aromas ranging from mandarin orange, lychee and apricot to fennel, mineral and blooming flowers.
